Gay marriage? Still an issue?

THE GOVERNMENT CANNOT SAY NO TO GAY MARRIAGE!!!!

But the church can.

THIS IS THE CHURCH AND CHRISTIAN BIBLE.

The christian bible says that homosexuality is a sin, i don't know where it says that, (haha great way for me not to have any evidence to back me up) but i know it does. Saying that homosexuality is a sin does NOT mean that homosexuality is to be treated any differently than any other sin. The bible also says that if someone is homosexual that you should tell them it is a sin and ask them to fix it (fux it, is what i accidentally typed instead of fix it, i found that a bit funny so i put it here) and ask for forgiveness. If the person does not fix it then you are supposed to reject them. NO WHERE DOES IT SAY TO ATTACK HOMOSEXUALS, YOU DON'T ATTACK OTHER PEOPLE FOR SUPPOSED SINS DO YOU?

So no god does not reject homosexuals (at first), it's just not how god designed sex, according to christianity. That is the reason the church can say no to homosexual marriage, a church has a doctrine and certain beliefs.

Can you really trust the church these days, actually could you ever trust the church? You know those superstitions? They were created by the Medieval Church to keep people in line. Like if you break a mirror you have seven years bad luck, that was made up so that people wouldn't break mirrors, because mirrors were expensive! Most of the holidays we celebrate today are originally pagan, then the church overshadowed them. The cross, many say that's what jesus died on, it actually doesn't say he died on a cross in the bible, it says he died on a tree, the cross was created out of the celtic cross a pagan symbol, and was used to convert the pagan celtics to christianity. Or at least the thing jesus died on wasn't the symbol that looks like a -t-.

On the other hand the government MUST grant a homosexual couple marriage. Homosexuals have the RIGHT to marriage just like a straight couple does. They have a right to get married the way they wish, but the government CANNOT force a church to marry a homosexual couple.

If a church decides to marry a homosexual couple then that's fine, the state has no say.

I would like to refer you to another great essay on this subject, it's more to the point, and is just better.

SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!
SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!

There is a huge difference between these two. Church, State, they aren't even spelled the same. What a contrast!
